So this is going to be a little bit less of a picture blog post and more of a typing thing so prepare yourself! I went to a concert on Saturday evening, and I'm never completely sure of how to put bands into specific genres so I looked it up and I mainly went to see the bands Sleeping With Sirens, Conditions, and Secrets which are all listed under the genre of "hardcore", so take that as you may. While there I saw a lot of trends that I didn't find appealing to my own eyes and I was wondering what you guys thought about that. I also thought I'd just give you a little do/don't list for smaller, crowded, and non ventilated venues.
look 1:

Now this is a little bit less extreme than what I was seeing but it was something along the lines of this very graphic, very dark or very neon, and overly just childish look. A lot of the girls that I would see in line with this attire would later be seen without their shirt on and just a bra, or with their shirt pulled up to reveal their belly buttons. Generally this is called the "scene" look, which I thought died a long time ago but apparently not. So my question is, do you like this look and why or why not?
look 2:
This is another thing that i was seeing a lot of, and don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with a tasteful body con dress... When you wear it correctly. If you, your friends, or the people around you are worried about your boobs or your vagina hanging out then that's a problem. And let me just say that there is a time and place for this look, but I would not recommend it for a concert where there will certainly be pushing and people pressed up against you unless you stand by the bar all night.
look 3:
I couldn't find any photos of this look, but it was a "layered lace" look where they would be wearing a lace top with a lace skirt, or a lace skirt and tights or whatever it was. I personally find that to be so extremely hard on the eyes and obnoxious looking, but if you like that then please speak up and tell me why and how you would wear it!
now to the do's and don'ts:
do: Wear something you feel physically comfortable in
Unless you have been in heels since the day you were born wear flats
If you are carrying any sort of bag bring a light sweater in your purse for after
A pony for if you get sweaty
Light make-up that will not smear if it gets wet
don't:
Sleeveless clothing
Short dresses/skirts
Anything you feel warm in while just standing outside
Open toed shoes
I just felt the need to point this stuff out and ask if these are truly appealing looks in humanity, sorry if you are offended but it's an opinion. Hope you enjoyed this post! xo
